Print of the day: More Subtle Than Water

Years ago I participated in a print exchange with the theme Currents. The image I produced dealt with air currents and a phrase I used was More Subtle Than Water. When I produced it I liked it but in retrospect… not so much but the phrase stayed with me. I recently resurrected the phrase with three new prints, the one presented here, a smaller version I’m using as a mailout and a blind embossment with collage. As I sit on my deck I can hear the currents moving forcefully in the nearby streams and waterfalls, but I see the clouds drifting through the mountains guided by gentle, unseen air currents. Water being moved by a more subtle force.
