After having an urban studio for decades I still am amazed every time I look out my window. My preferred hiking time is early in the morning, often just as the sun is rising but throughout the day it is an ever changing scene. I see bears, deer, coyotes and unfortunately armadillos. The young buck in these photos has been coming closer and closer to the house over the past few days. Today I got some pretty good photos of him. I was just lucky to get the shot of the Slate Colored Junco in the bush, I was going for the deer. Also a panoramic picture of the field, garden shed, studio and house.
