Last night I was able to see Old Crow Medicine Show at the Great Smoky Mountain Center. They have progressed A LOT since I first saw them at the Hummingbird bar in Macon about 100 years ago. They were just a high energy, 5-piece bluegrass band at the time. They were good then but now they’re good with a SHOW. Not as much energy as the mosh pit of a Bad Brains concert of the 1980s but the most energy of any bluegrass band I’ve ever seen. Small or large venue they are always a treat to see. One of my favorite bands. Here are a few photos from concert along with a few crow prints and drawings that have nothing to do with the band.
