More Hikes, More Rhodies and More Bears

I had the chance to hike the Hambidge Cove trail. Of course you gotta take a photo of the spring house. I think it is required. Further up Patterson Gap I saw more neat-o Rhododendrons and coming home I saw 2 bears in the field. They ran in opposite directions but I hung out at the top of the hill and one came back. He went straight to the same telephone pole they seem to love. Same one? I dunno. After the last sighting I went out to get closer look at pole. Stretching out, the bear was about 6 – 7 feet tall.  I’ve had lots of sightings this season.
