We all have ways to amuse ourselves through life that are silly or seemingly nonsensical ways. One thing I do is random mailouts. These are not like my guerrilla messages, mailouts are NEVER threatening or political in nature. They are lighthearted and fun. I will produce an edition of fifty 5 X 7 prints, sign and number them, look up 50 random names on the internet, flip them over and write name and address, put a stamp on it and drop them in the mail. No explanation or return address. Often they are hand colored or have collage elements and are quite involved prints. Thanks to the miracle of the internet people have occasionally tracked me down and are amused when they find out they were randomly chosen out of millions of people.
